Lisa is an Online Curriculum Developer for Beacon Educator. She has served in education for over 28 years in various roles, including a middle school ELA/Reading teacher, an AP Language and Composition and Pre-AP teacher for grades 9-11, English Department Chair, Teacher Candidate Assessment Developer for Teacher Licensure with the Florida Department of Education, and a district literacy coach. Lisa holds a BA in Education with a major in English from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, and a MS in Reading Education from Florida State University. She is certified to teach English Language Arts 5-9, English 6-12, and Reading K-12, with endorsements in Literacy Coach and ESOL.
